Abstract

Media literacy education is increasingly recognized as a pivotal tool in developing critical thinking skills among students in today's digital world. This abstract delves into the impact of media literacy classes on fostering critical thinking abilities, emphasizing the importance of equipping students with the necessary skills to navigate and evaluate media content effectively. By empowering students to analyze and interpret media messages critically, media literacy education plays a fundamental role in shaping individuals into discerning consumers of information and responsible digital citizens. Through a review of existing literature, methodologies, results, discussions, and conclusions, this paper highlights the significant role of media literacy classes in enhancing critical thinking skills among students.
