THE ROLE OF PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT IN EDUCATION
Abstract
Parental involvement in education has been widely recognized as a crucial factor influencing student achievement and overall development. This paper examines the various dimensions of parental involvement, its impact on academic performance, and the mechanisms through which it affects student outcomes. A review of existing literature highlights the positive correlation between parental engagement and student success, as well as the challenges and barriers faced by families in participating in their children's education. Recommendations for enhancing parental involvement are discussed, emphasizing the need for schools to foster partnerships with families.
