THE INTEGRATION OF NATIONAL IDENTITY AND UNIVERSAL HUMAN VALUES IN THE INTERPRETATION OF HISTORICAL WORKS
Abstract
The interpretation of universal human values within the framework of national literary traditions plays a significant role in enriching artistic thinking in Uzbek literature. From this perspective, the historical novels created by Sh. Isaxonova during the independence period—“The Princess Trapped by Genghis Khan,” “Bibikhonim,” “Gavharshod Begim,” and “Nodirai Davron”—retain their relevance today and stand out for their profound and meaningful ideas. These works vividly reflect universal human values, moral-ethical principles, and educational-aesthetic insights while guiding the reader toward an understanding of the noble qualities inherent in humanity.
