Abstract

This article introduces CraftNet, a practitioner-centered digital platform designed to unify collaborative design, provenance, compliance, and export access for artisanal blade production. Building on platform economics, human–AI collaboration, and product-data standards, CraftNet comprises four interoperable layers: a Design Co-Lab, a suite of AI Assistants (style classification, variant generation, cost and labor estimation, compliance checks, and quality analysis), a Provenance & Certification substrate (lineage, materials traceability, verifiable build logs), and Commerce & Logisticsservices (dynamic pricing ladders, HS coding, shipping options, returns, and aftercare). We detail system logic, data schemas, model objectives, evaluation metrics, and human-in-the-loop governance. A pilot scenario for Uzbek pichoq/pchak makers in Chust and Shahrixon illustrates how CraftNet lowers transaction costs, protects stylistic identity, and expands lawful export capacity—without diluting craft autonomy.
