Abstract

The transition toward a green economy has emerged as a central pillar of sustainable development, aiming to balance economic growth with environmental protection and social well-being. As global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and resource depletion intensify, sustainable financing mechanisms become critical to support green investment and low-carbon transformation. This study examines the conceptual foundations of the green economy, evaluates various financing instruments—including green bonds, carbon pricing, and climate funds—and analyzes their effectiveness in promoting sustainable development.
