Abstract

This article analyzes the psychological foundations and practical mechanisms of stress resistance and positive thinking development. Management of stress factors and reduction of their negative impact are considered as important elements in maintaining mental stability and healthy psychological balance of a person. The study reveals individual and group approaches to the formation of stress resistance, methods of positive thinking development, in particular, the role of cognitive-behavioral approaches, motivational training, conscious mind control, meditation and alternative psychological techniques. Also, on the basis of practical observations conducted among representatives of various age categories, especially students, trends related to the level of stress resistance and positive thinking are analyzed. The results of the article will serve as a practical basis for improving the effectiveness of psychological services, as well as for the development of programs aimed at stress prevention and the development of positive thinking.
