THE ROLE OF THE PIRLS PROGRAM IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF READING LITERACY IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Abstract
This article analyzes the importance and role of the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) international assessment program in developing reading literacy in primary grades. The article provides examples of program tasks.
